The Council of Bishops has called a Special Session of the General Conference of The United Methodist Church to be held Feb. 23-26, 2019, in St. Louis, Missouri. Delegates from around the world (864) will attend, including four from the Memphis Conference.The General Conference will act on a report from the Council of Bishops based on recommendations of the Commission on a Way Forward. The 32-member Commission was appointed to examine paragraphs in The Book of Discipline concerning human sexuality and exploring options to strengthen the unity of the church. | DETAILS & RESOURCES
